Expand your career skills with noncredit training

Learn all areas of pre-clinical dental assisting and develop the professional skills necessary to work as an assistant in the field of dentistry. In addition to the classroom lecture and hands-on lab, this program also includes an optional 40-hour clinical rotation.

NSCC’ Dental Assistant Certification Training program is designed to prepare you to sit for the Dental Assisting National Board’s (DANB) National Entry Level Dental Assistant Exam (NELDA). Upon scoring high enough on this exam, students are eligible for entry level employment as a dental assistant. Exam costs are not included in the cost of the program.
